Build and design
Powder-coated stainless steel over a vacuum-insulated wall. It feels dense in the hand, in a reassuring way, and the finish resists scuffing better than most. The cap's light ring is the best status indicator in the category — you never have to guess whether a cycle ran.
First use
Charging to full took about an hour. The first cycle ran without any setup. Ice water was still cold the next morning, which is the single strongest argument for this bottle over every other one here.
How it holds up day to day
It is a desk and short-commute bottle. On a hot day out it is superb until it is empty, which happens fast at 17 oz. If you are refilling constantly anyway, the insulation matters less than you think.
